Shipping policy
At Vumra, we take care over how every order is inspected, packed, and dispatched, so it reaches you in good condition. This policy explains where we ship, what it costs, and how long delivery takes.
1. Shipping Destination & Restrictions
We ship exclusively to residential and business addresses within the United Kingdom (including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).
International Shipping: At this time, we do not ship outside of the United Kingdom.
Restricted Addresses: We do not deliver to PO Boxes, BFPO (British Forces Post Office) addresses, or military bases due to carrier restrictions.
Remote Areas: Delivery to a small number of remote UK postcodes (including the Scottish Highlands and UK Islands) may take an additional 1–2 working days in transit. This does not affect your shipping cost.
2. Shipping Costs, Methods & Carriers
We believe in complete pricing transparency. All prices listed on vumra.com are final, with no hidden handling fees or surprise charges at checkout.
Standard Tracked Delivery — All orders — 3–6 working days — FREE
All orders are dispatched from our UK fulfillment centre via trusted domestic carriers, including Royal Mail, DPD, or Evri. Every shipment includes full door-to-door tracking and requires a signature or photo verification upon delivery to ensure secure arrival.
3. Order Processing & Delivery Timeline
Your total delivery timeline is calculated by adding our Handling Time to the carrier's Transit Time.
Order Cut-off Time: 2:00 PM (GMT / BST), Monday through Friday.
Handling Time (1–2 Working Days): Orders placed before 2:00 PM Monday to Friday are processed within 1 to 2 working days. This time is used to inspect your item, include any accompanying documentation, and pack it securely for transit.
Transit Time (2–4 Working Days): Once handed to the courier, transit takes between 2 to 4 working days to arrive at your door.
Weekend & Holiday Orders: Orders placed after 2:00 PM on Friday, or during weekends and UK Bank Holidays, will begin processing on the following working day.
Total Estimated Delivery: 3–6 working days from the moment your order is placed.
Please Note: While we make every effort to deliver within these windows, these timelines are estimates. In accordance with UK consumer law, we guarantee that all items will be delivered within a maximum of 30 days from order acceptance.
4. Order Tracking
Once your package is handed over to the courier, we will automatically send you a Shipping Confirmation email containing your unique tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking portal.
Please allow up to 24 hours from receiving the email for the tracking status to update. If your tracking information has not updated after 48 hours, please contact our support team at hello@vumra.com.
5. Delivery Address Accuracy & Failed Deliveries
Address Accuracy: The buyer is responsible for providing the correct delivery address at checkout. Because we process and pack orders quickly, we cannot change, redirect, or amend a shipping address once a parcel has been dispatched.
Failed Delivery Attempts: If you are unavailable to receive your package, the carrier may leave it with a neighbour, place it in a designated safe place, or take it to a local collection depot. The carrier will leave a physical card and send an electronic notification with instructions on how to rearrange delivery or collect your item.
Returned to Sender: If a parcel is returned to our facility because of an incomplete or incorrect address provided by the customer, or because a collection window was missed, a flat re-delivery fee of £4.99 will apply to reship the package.
6. Damaged or Lost Parcels
Every shipment is fully insured against loss or damage during transit.
Damaged on Arrival: If your item arrives damaged or the packaging has been tampered with, please take clear photos of the damage and contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, at hello@vumra.com. Please retain all packaging materials. Reporting after this does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty or damaged goods.
Lost in Transit: If your package has not arrived within 10 working days of receiving your dispatch confirmation, please notify us. We will launch an official investigation with the carrier. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, we will immediately issue a brand-new replacement or a full refund, per your preference.
7. Cancellations & Order Amendments
To ensure fast delivery, we begin preparing your order almost immediately. You may request a cancellation or modification within 2 hours of placing your order by emailing hello@vumra.com.
After this 2-hour window, the item enters the packing and dispatch stream, and the shipment cannot be stopped. If you miss this window, you can return the item to us once it arrives in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
